Power Circles Rules of Participation
*
1. Please treat all other participants with respect.
2. All information shared in Power Circles is to be treated as confidential. I will not share another business’s proprietary information or another business owner’s personal information without that person’s documented consent.
3. The value of a Power Circle is in the discussion, collaboration and networking. Please plan to participate in a healthy manner, as well as support others in participating, too. It is a documented fact that women conduct business differently than men and one of the leading factors is their ability and insistence on collaborating with others.
4. The meetings will begin and end promptly as scheduled. While you will still be welcomed if you are running late or need to leave early, please understand that we will not be able to “make up” missed discussions or information for those who arrive late or leave early. It will be the individual participant’s responsibility to talk to the facilitator about what information has been missed.
5. If a participant cannot attend a meeting, the Power Circle group may first opt to reschedule that meeting based on full agreement of other participants. If agreement on a rescheduled time cannot be met, the facilitator may be able to work with the WSBA to find alternative solutions. However, no guarantees are made that a missed session solution will be provided.
6. Participants may not use the scheduled Power Circle sessions to sell or promote their products to other participates. Additionally, participants may not directly market to (via mail, online, email, or other channels) without the consent of the other participants. Adding someone’s email is a violation of the Power Circle-SPAM law.
7. Please care for the facility and facility’s contents.
Many of the items have been donated to the WSBA, a non-profit organization, and would be very costly to replace. We rely on the kindness and generosity of others to deliver our programming to all women business owners.
I have reviewed the rules above and agree to abide by them as part of my participation in Power Circles. I also understand that confidentiality regarding Power Circles participant information is paramount.
